PURPOSE:To provide a comfortable indoor temperature through effective cooling of a wall body increased in temperature to a high value during summer season, by a method wherein a vertically extended cooling water passage is formed in a wall body, and the cooling-water passage is connected to an external heat exchanger to circulate cooling water. CONSTITUTION:A cooling-water passage 2 is formed in a wall body 1 along a vertical direction, and an outlet part 3 at the upper end of the cooling-water passage is coupled to a radiator 5 situated on a roof 4, and water in the cooling- water passage 2 heated to a high temperature is guided to a radiator 5. Water cooled by the radiator 5 is circulated through an external piping 6 to an inlet part 7 at the lower end of the cooling-water passage 2 again A switching valve 11 is placed on an outlet part 3 at the upper end of the cooling-water passage 2, and change-over of the valve, when the temperature of water in the cooling- water passage 2 is not high, enables water to be circulated not through the radiator 5. This constitution increases a cooling effect on the interior of a wall body, and permits an indoor temperature to be comfortably reduced even during summer season with the result that the indoor temperature is increased to an extremely high value resulting from collection of direct light.
