PURPOSE:To produce an excellent humidity regulating effect even under a high-humidity condition, by a method wherein liquid used in a rotary type beltlike body is caused to have characteristics that the more higher wetness is, the more inversely proportionally less an vaporizing amount is, and liquid concentration is automatically controlled and maintained. CONSTITUTION:An indoor air is forced to pass through a beltlike body 2 which is continuously rotated for movement as a part thereof is immersed in liquid in a liquid tank 1. In which case, a substance, having characteristics that the more higher wetness is, the more inversely proportionally less a vaporizing amount is, is used as the liquid,and this causes moistening and dehumidifying of a circulating air depending upon humidity of an indoor air. As a result, relative humidity can be always held in a proper range even under a high humidity condition. When pure water enters on dehumidifying action and a liquid level is increased to higher than a specified value, the liquid level is detected by a sensor 5, a high-pressure pump is driven, pure water is separated for removal by a concentration control device 3 employing an inverse penetration process, and liquid concentration is maintained within an allowable range in terms of characteristics.
