<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the dead space due to a tension arm and to miniaturize a VTR by dividing a tension arm into plural parts to attach them to each other and then folding these split arms when a tape is unloaded. CONSTITUTION:A tension arm 33 of this device is divided into the 1st arm 33A attached to a shaft 26 and the 2nd arm 33B. Both arms 33A and 33B are attached to each other by a pin 36. In a tape unloading mode where the arm 33 is oscillated by the force of a tension spring 31, both arms 33A and 33B are set in a linear state. Then the arm 33A is turned counterclockwise by an unloading bar 32 and then unloaded. Thus the arm 33B has a touch to a stopper 40. While a tension spring 39 is extended and the arm 33B is oscillated centering on the pin 36 and folded. Thus the dead space length l can be set less than the conventional L.</p> |
