PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load controller capable of rapidly performing disconnection or short circuit on a secondary line of an output transformer without using an instrument transformer.SOLUTION: A load controller 1 includes: a plurality of saturable devices 11 interconnected in series; a plurality of loads 12 to which power is fed via respective saturable devices 11; phase controlling means 2 that controls the phase of the output voltage of AC power source Vs and can feed power to each load 12; and controlling means 4 that sets the output of the phase controlling means 2, uniformizes and controls the striking angle of the phase controlling means 2 to the set output value by current feedback control, and stops or reduces the output of the phase controlling means 2 when the striking angle becomes a preset lower limit or less or a preset upper limit or more. |
