PURPOSE:To improve the lubricity and also the forming workability of the titled steel sheet which is obtained, and also to remove simply and easily a lubricating film after the forming machining is executed, by depositing a sulfide of Mo by an electrolytic treatment. CONSTITUTION:A temper rolling steel sheet or said steel sheet to which Ni, Cr or Zn-Ni alloy, etc. is plated is brought to a cathode electrolysis in a water solution containing molybdate such as molybdic acid ammonium, etc. and sodium sulfide, by which molybdenum sulfide is depopsited to the surface. According to such a constitution, a steel sheet or a plating steel sheet having the excellent lubricity, which is suitable for the drawing and to ironing is obtained.
