PURPOSE:To obtain a stable image at high speed by optically scanning the rear surfaces of plural photosensitive bodies to which toner with a selected color is adhered, reducing electric resistance, reaking electrostatic charge charged on the toner to adhere the toner to the surface of charged recording paper. CONSTITUTION:When an optical beam 16a is radiated from a semiconductor laser array 16, the optical beam 16a is reflected by a light irradiating device 15 to scan the rear part of the photosensitive body 11 optically in a prescribed direction. Consequently, electric resistance on the photo conductive layer 11c of the photosensitive body 11 is reduced and the charge of magenta tone 14M is leaked or free charge is injected, so that the toner is transferred to recording paper 12. When the recording paper 12 is carried in a direction A at constant speed and a position to which the toner 14M is adhered is reached to a position opposed to the photosensitive body 21, cyan-toner 14C is transferred to the recording paper 12. When the recording paper 12 is carried further and the adhering position of the magenta toner is reached to a position opposed to the photosensitive body 31, yellow toner 14Y is transferred so as to be superposed to the adhering position of the yellow toner 14Y.
