Sifting device with a support structure 1 that can be oscillated by means of an oscillation exciter driven by a motor and a massive part joined to the support structure by means of elastic elements, elastic sieves 4 being fitted between each of the support structures 1 and the retaining parts corresponding to the massive part 11. In order to avoid an excessive approach of the oscillation frequency of the sifting device to its resonance frequency, which varies owing to a possible accumulation of sifted product on the massive part, it is provided that the motor 27 of the oscillation exciter 6 is called upon by a regulating connection 21 to 25 that processes the signals from the sensor 20 which picks up the amplitude of the oscillations of the massive part 11 with respect to the support structure 1. In this way an overload of the sifting device structure is simply avoided.
