The present invention relates to a chain conveyor for transferring mined coal installed in an underground coal mine to transfer mined coal and having a driving force from a chain. The chain conveyor comprises: a driving shaft mounted on a head support frame to be rotated while being supported and coupled to a head support block; and a driven shaft mounted on a tale support frame to be rotated while being supported and coupled to the tail support block. The head support block has edge grooves with the same height formed at four edges of a surface opposite to a surface facing the head support frame in a stepped manner, and each of the edge grooves has a bolt fastening hole formed to pass therethrough so that a bolt is easily fastened and assembled thereto. A grease storage space with a predetermined width of a groove is formed along an inner circumference of the head support block. A grease injection hole is formed at one side of the grease storage space so that a side surface is exposed. A nipple for injecting grease is mounted outside of the head support block so that grease is easily injected into a grease storage space. A bushing or an oilless bushing with a grease discharge hole is installed on an inner circumference of the head support block and coupled to prevent friction with the driving shaft. |
