PURPOSE:To improve transfer efficiency without impairing detecting sensitivity of electric charge, by specifying the width of an output floating diffused layer narrower than a charge transfer channel, and specifying a part of the diffused layer inner than the terminating end of the charge transfer channel by a final gate. CONSTITUTION:A transfer channel 1 is formed with the same width to an output end 8. The width of a floating diffused layer 4 is narrower than the transfer channel 1. A part of the diffused layer 4 is inputted into the transfer channel 1 from its terminating end 8.
