<p>PURPOSE:To improve a display characteristic and to facilitate production by connecting a bus bar electrode layer, layer consisting of the aggregate of semiconductor powder and picture element electrode layer in this order on the surface an insulating substrate. CONSTITUTION:This liquid crystal cell has the picture element electrode layer 2 formed of ITO, etc. and the bus bar electrode layer 3 on the insulating substrate 1. A spacing part 4 is the spacing part between the layer 2 and the layer 3 and a layer 5 consists of the aggregate of the semiconductor powder exhibiting a non-linear characteristic. The semiconductor powder preferably consists of silicon, silicon carbide, gallium nitride, selenium, tin oxide and boron. Low melting glass or org. resin such as urea resin or negative resist resin is used for the binder material to fix and solidify the semiconductor powder particles to each other. the production process is thereby extremely facilitated.</p> |
