发明名称 SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD FOR SOLID-STATE IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To make A/D conversion easy and eliminate the noise due to a clock to attain a high S/N by shifting the timing of the integration start from the timing of the clock. CONSTITUTION:A clock signal 101 is supplied to a solid-state image pickup device, and a signal current having a waveform 102 is obtained in the output. A reset signal 103 is given to an integrating circuit in the device, and an integrated signal having a waveform 104 is obtained in the output. The integration start time is t2, t4,...,t12 and coincides with the rise of the output signal current waveform. Consequently, the effective integration time and the read time have a length obtained by subtracting the time of the pulse width of the reset signal 103 from the time of a half cycle of the clock signal 101. Thus, the integration time which is ineffective conventionally is made effective as the signal read time to make high-speed read possible.
