PURPOSE:To make a stereoscopic display distinct by providing the hologram of an image retreating to the inner part and the hologram of an image projecting to the front and sticking those two holograms one over the other with their emulsion surfaces. CONSTITUTION:The two holograms 1 and 10 are stuck; one hologram has the image with depth and the other hologram 10 has the image projecting to the front. The former image is photographed firstly. At this time, its emulsion surface 15 is put opposite a subject, so information light is recorded on the emulsion surface 15 without passing through a dry plate 10' of glass and when this is used as the hologram 10 for the projecting image, the dry plate 10' is turned over and irradiated with reproduction light from the side of the emulsion surface 15 and the image is seen in this direction. The emulsion surface 15 of the hologram 10 is stacked on the emulsion surface 5 of the hologram 1 having the image with the depth and stuck together. consequently, a feeling of three dimensions is increased and a display device having balance between a projecting image and retreating image is obtained.
