NONAQUEOUS SECONDARY BATTERY

PURPOSE:To obtain a secondary battery with high energy density by forming an electrolyte with a specified alkali metal salt and mixture solvent. CONSTITUTION:A electrolyte consists of an alkali metal salt indicated in the formula (1) or (2) and a mixture solvent of phophate ester indicated m the formula (3) and ether family compound, and the content of phophate ester is limited to 5-30vol%. The concentration of alkali metal salt is 0.5-5mol/l, preferably 1.0-2.5mol/l which is a range of high conductivity. The polymerization of aniline or aniline derivative is performed by anodic oxidation at a current density of 0.01-50mA/cm<2> and an electrolytic voltage of 1-300V. A secondary battery having large energy density, flat discharge voltage, and low self discharge is obtained.
