PURPOSE:To illuminate only a necessary part at the time of a record performance, to reduce light quantity, and to make a power surface and a lighting apparatus small in size, by integrating as one body a record disk lighting apparatus into a cartridge fitting shell of a pickup arm. CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive member 4 is fixed to a cartridge fitting shell 3a being near a needle point 3d of a cartridge 3b, and an LED 5 is inserted and fixed into a recessed part 4b of the photoconductive member 4. Also, when an inclined part 4a is provided on one end of the photoconductive member 4, a light from the LED is reflected in the direction as indicated with an arrow, the light is emitted in the direction of a record disk 6, and the upper face of the record disk 6 is illuminated.
