PURPOSE:To increase the number of works mounted to locate accurately the reference position by disposing press blocks and center blocks alternatively on a plurality of vertical stages and a press clamp on the lower surface of an arm of the press block to form the upper surface of the arm into a work mounting surface. CONSTITUTION:Short post-like center blocks 2 and cross plate-like press blocks 3 are alternatively disposed on a plurality of vertical stages on a base plate 1 on a turntable of a horizontal machining center. The upper surface 15 of an arm member of the lower side press block 3 as a work mounting surface mounts a work W to operate hydraulically downward a press clamp 13 on the lower surface of arm member of the upper side press block 3. the fastening force and fastening reaction balanced with each other act on the work W to improve accuracy in working without deforming the press block and displacing the working reference surface on the work W. Also, the pitch between the fixed works W is shortened to increase the number of works W disposed per one surface so that the construction can be simplified, the height of the working reference surface is set with high accuracy and the works W having different heights can be fixed.
