Cross-country ski boot sole, if appropriate with associated binding, with a bore, running at an angle in relation to the longitudinal axis and surface of the ski, for receiving a spindle, which converges rearwardly and downwardly and is arranged displaced into the interspace located between the axis of the basal toe joint and the foot tip, into that third of this interspace adjacent to the axis of the basal toe joint, it being possible for the cross-country ski boot sole to be of completely rigid design in terms of rolling or torsion, or of completely flexible design, or of completely rigid design in terms of rolling or torsion from the heel to the spindle and flexible from the spindle to the cross-country boot toe. To limit the angle of inclination between the longitudinal axis of the cross-country ski boots and the cross-country ski to a desired end angle, a mechanical element can be provided, which is designed so as to be continuously variable in degree of damping and angle limitation. <IMAGE> |
