PURPOSE:To perform a rescue operation by a battery only by adding a simple circuit by utilizing diodes of a diode clipper at operating time with the battery. CONSTITUTION:Contacts 1a-1c and 8d are opened at operating time of a battery 7 at power interruption time, and contacts 8a-8c are closed. Accordingly, a DC power is supplied from the battery 7 to an inverter 4. Since the inverter is composed of GTO thyristors 4a-4f, it forms a voltage type inverter this time together with diodes 6a-6f which operate as flywheel diodes to drive an induction motor. Power is regenerated through the diodes 6a, 6f and the contact 8c to the battery 7 at regenerative time. |
