PURPOSE:To check malfunction of all contacts and an information code discriminating circuit in a camera by providing an engaging part which engages the rewinding means of the camera and switching at least two kinds of film information codes by the rewinding means when a film is loaded in the camera. CONSTITUTION:When respective components are assembled in one, a stopper 24e projects from a slot 26c and a rotary support part 22a projects from end surfaces of lids 28a and 28b. When the rotary support part 22a is rotated, the stopper 24e is guided along the slot 26c and an internal cylinder 22 moves relatively to an external cylinder 26. the engaging part 22b is formed in the internal cylinder 22, so when a dummy cartridge 29 is loaded in the camera 53, a fork 57 associated with a rewinding knob 56 engages the engaging part 22b of the dummy cartridge 20. Therefore, the internal cylinder 22 is rotated by the notch length of the slit 26c by rotating the knob 56. Consequently, contact abnormality and operation abnormality of an electronic circuit which accompanies the contact abnormality are easily confirmed.
