PURPOSE:To eliminate the occurrence of an uncomfortable noise and the output of unnecessary digital data by identifying between a sound digital signal and a digital data signal according as a frame synchronizing signal exists or not. CONSTITUTION:The digital signal demodulated by a demodulator 12 is led to a frame signal reproducer 13. A frame signal is reproduced by the reproducer 13 and is sent to a demodulator 14 to obtain the digital sound signal. In this case, the output of a D/A converter 15 is outputted to an analog signal output terminal 16, and the output of the demodulator 12 is not outputted to a digital data output terminal 17. If the frame synchronizing signal is not detected by the reproducer 13, the output of the D/A converter 15 is cut off, and the output of the demodulator 12 is led to the output terminal 17. Thus, sound and data signals are identified from each other in accordance with presence/absence of the frame synchronizing signal to eliminate the occurrence of an uncomfortable noise or the like.
