PURPOSE:To improve the response of constant-speed traveling control by making opening/closing control of a throttle valve by means of a control device based on deviation between an actual car speed and a set car speed, and carrying out the control not according to the operating time of a valve motor but to its actual operating quantity. CONSTITUTION:A constant-speed traveling control device A has a control device 5 into which a car speed signal (a) outputted from an input sensor 2 including a car speed sensor 1 for detecting car speed is inputted, and outputs a control signal (b) to a motor 4 which opens and closes a throttle valve 3 so as to make an actual car speed agree with a set car speed. An operation sensor 6 for detecting the actual operating quantity of the motor 4 is provided on the input sensor 2. The control device 5 compares and operates the actual car speed with the set car speed and operates the operating quantity of the motor for making both car speed agree, and outputs a control signal (b) which makes an actual operating quantity from an actual operating quantity signal (c) agree with the operated operating quantity obtained by this operation.
