PURPOSE:To simplify a circuit, to shorten the delay time and to enable the detection with good accuracy of the variation point in a scanning signal by delaying for a fixed time a scanning signal by a delay circuit and by comparing the scanning signal and this delay signal. CONSTITUTION:A scanning signal is fed respectively to an analog comparator 22 and delay circuit 21 via the amplifier 11 providing a filter function. The scanning signal A is then converted into a delay signal K by a delay circuit 21, which is fed to the input terminal of the analog comparator 22. The delay signal K and scanning signal A are then compared by the analog comparator 22, a gate signal L is formed at the time when the both signal sizes are coincided and is fed to a gate control part 16. The data output C in detecting the weld line is obtd. by the operation of the conventional technique thereafter.
