发明名称 METHOD OF CONTROLLING NUMBER OF CYLINDERS IN ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED DIESEL-ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the combustion of a Diesel-engine and to prevent white smoke from being generated, by allocating each one detonation of one of engine cylinders to one section, and by setting the operation of the engine such that two groups of engine cylinders alternately detonate and rest in each section. CONSTITUTION:In a process routine (1) a vehicle speed, an accelerator opening degree, an engine rotational speed, and other data are read. In a routine 2, it is determined whether the terms of controlling the number of engine cylinder are satisfied or not. In a routine (3) the engine cylinders are divided into two groups. In a routine 4, both groups are made to detonate and rest alternately for every two rotations. These detonation and rest are made alternately for each section. Thus, it is possible to improve the combustion of the engine and to prevent white smoke from being generated.
