PURPOSE:To enhance the design effect of piles after processing, by applying an adhesive containing a large amount of a solvent component to the base surface of a work formed into an uneven state to form an adhesive flat surface and subsequently vertically providing fine hair like piles to said flat surface. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive 2 containing a large amount of a volatile solvent is applied to the base surface of a work 1 made of a resin material formed into an uneven surface by press processing so as to sufficiently cover the unevenness of said base surface. Next, a large number of piles 6 are implanted in the flat surface, which was formed by coating said adhesive 2, by an electrostatic flocking apparatus and the solvent component of the coated adhesive 2 is volatilized by natural drying. Because the adhesive 2, from which the solvent component was removed, is reduced in its volume to a large extent, said adhesive 2 is cured in a state following the uneven configuration of the base surface of the work and, as a result, the flocked surface after the completion of processing is finished in a state similar to natural fur arrangement wherein the leading ends of piles 6 are mutually intricated.
