PURPOSE:To attain correction even when reception data is not subjected to error correction conventionally due to antenna switching noises by using the erasure error correction technology in decoding an error correction code in an error correction code decoder utilizing space diversity. CONSTITUTION:An erasure decoding circuit 6 having two input terminals 41, 42 and an output terminal 43 and an erasure flag generator 14 inputting an output signal 27 of a reception electric field level detector 7 and an output signal 26 of a diversity control circuit 8 and giving its output signal to the circuit 6 are provided at the next stage of a demodulator 5. The erasure decoding circuit 6 applies correction decoding correctly based on the erasure flag signal 31 outputted from the erasure flag generator 14 to a reception error correction code signal inputted from the demodulator 6.
