BELT PRESS TYPE DEHYDRATOR

PURPOSE:To improve dehydration efficiency by disposing a secondary flocculating part and secondary gravity dehydrating part between a primary gravity dehydrating part and compression dehydrating part and further providing a high-pressure dehydrating part of specific pressure to the compression dehydrating part. CONSTITUTION:The secondary flocculating part 4 and the secondary gravity dehydrating part 9 are disposed to the intermediate of the compression dehydrating part constituted of the primary gravity dehydrating part 6 and compression rollers 12a-12h. The high-pressure dehydrating part 13 in which the compressive pressure is set at >=1kg/cm<2> is further provided on the down stream side of the compression dehydrating part. A flocculating agent is first introduced into the sludge in a flocculation tank 2 and is mixed with the sludge by a stirrer 21. The sludge dehydrated in the primary gravity dehydrating part 6 is again supplied with the flocculating agent in the secondary flocculating part 4 and is dehydrated in the secondary gravity dehydrating part 9. The sludge is further dehydrated in the compression dehydrating part and is then dehydrated under the high pressure in the high-pressure dehydrating part 13. Since the sludge grown to flocs of a small diameter in the secondary flocculating part 4, the moisture content of the dehydrated cake decreases. The dehydration efficiency is thus improved.
