PURPOSE:To secure speedy, proper pressure regulating performance as well as to prolong a span of service life in a filter, by connecting the inlet side of a lubricating oil filter to the inlet side of a bypass filter, while interconnecting the outlet side of this bypass filter through an oil pan. CONSTITUTION:An oil pan 11 is connected to the inlet side of a lubricating oil filter 20 via an oil pump 12. The inlet side of this lubricating oil filter 20 is interconnected through the inlet side of a bypass filter 14, while it is interconnected through the oil pan 11 via a regulator valve 13. The outlet side of this bypass filter 14 is interconnected through the oil pan 11 via the regulator valve 13, and the outlet side of the lubricating oil filter 20 is connected to a main gallery 15. Thus, speedy, proper pressure regulating performance is secured and, what is more, a span of service life in the lubricating oil filter is prolongable. |
