PURPOSE:To facilitate the change of a packing at its wear time by making the member sliding with pressing the packing provided on a vacuum vessel face movable vertically if necessary. CONSTITUTION:The packing 11 provided on the vacuum vessel 4a of which a belt unit 8 slides at moving time of an electron gun 1 needs to be changed when reaching the prescribed wear quantity. In case of changing this packing 11, the belt unit 8 and packing 10 fitted to a mobile block 9 are removed, then the mobile block 9 is ascended by the driving of an air cylinder 14. A gap is formed between the lower end face of the mobile block 9 and the upper face of the vessel 4a. The worn packing 11 is taken out to this gap part, replaced by a new packing 11 and the mobile block 9 is moved downward by driving the air cylinder 14 again. The lower face of the mobile block 9 is restored to vacuum sealing state by pressing the washer 11.
