摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce the load of an operator and to improve the operability by attaining the use of a terminal controlled by a communication control mechanism with no intervention of an operator when the initialization system for communication control mechanism is started in a next-day restart mode. CONSTITUTION:If an application program produces a read command, a communication control program produces a prepare command. Under such conditions, the operation of an initialization system for communication control mechanism is stopped in a next-day restart mode. Thus the contents of a main memory of a host 4 are saved to a DASD. When the system is started on the next day in the next-day restart mode, the data saved in the DASD is loaded into a main memory of the host 4. Then it is informed to an initialization routine of a communication control mechanism 5 that the system is started in an I/O processing routine and the next-day restart mode. Then the initialization routine performs the initialization of the mechanism 5 and informs a time-out state to the communication control program after the end of the processing to carry out the retrial of the prepare command.</p>
