PURPOSE:To prevent weld crack and to improve corrosion resistance and wear resistance at a high temp. by incorporating specific wt% each of C, Cr and V into a titled wire and further adding prescribed % each of W, Ti, Nb and Mo. thereto. CONSTITUTION:The composite wire is formed by incorporating 0.8-4.5% C, 0.5-2.0% Si, 0.3-2.2% Mn, 11-25% Cr and 2.0-15% V and further adding 1 or >=2 kinds among <=10% W, <=5.0% Mo, <=8.5% Ti and <=8.55 Nb thereto. A V-carbide is precipitated by increasing C and therefore the wear resistance and corrosion resistance are improved. The corrosion resistance and wear resistance of a build-up metal at a high temp. are improved by adding V at the ratio balance with the content of C and increase of Cr component. The components such as Ni, Ti and W contribute to the additional improvement of various characteristics at a high temp. and prevent the weld crack. The corrosion resistance and wear resistance are thereby improved and the weld crack is prevented. |
