ALTERNANT REVERSED STRAND OPTICAL FIBER CABLE

PURPOSE:To increase a mechenical strength of the titled cable by accommodating the optical fiber and a high strength plastic fiber in a groove of a U type or a V type tape spacer and then by twisting up the prescribed optical fiber and the plastic fiber together with a lying electric wire around the high tension body 4 lying in the center of the titled cable to form the alternant reversed strand. CONSTITUTION:The high strength plastic fiber 6 together with the optical fiber 1 are accommodated in the U type or the V type groove provided in the tape spacer 5. The tape spacer 5, the insulating copper wire 2 and the lying plastic strand 3 are winded up around the high tension body 4 lying in the center of the titled cable so as to alternately reverse the twist in a longitudinal direction. Thus, the stabilized production of the titled cable makes possible. The productivity of the titled cable may be increased without generating a buckling of te tape spacer.
