PURPOSE:To eliminate waste power from being supplied to a radio equipment of a repeater station and a terminal station by applying battery saving according to the signal of a battery saving timing generation circuit provided to each of the relay station and the terminal station when the channel identification synchronizing signal sent from the base station is not detected for a prescribed time or over. CONSTITUTION:A battery saving timing generating section shown in one dashed chain lines in figure is provided to a terminal station and a repeater station. If a host station is faulty and a channel identification synchronizing signal from a base station 51 is not received for a specified time or over while power is given to the radio equipment, the repeater stations 52, 53 and the terminal station 54 use the own battery saving timing signal to apply battery saving. Since the period of the battery saving differs from the period of the battery saving synchronizing signal sent from the base station 51, even when the host station is restored, because the channel identification synchronizing signal is received from the base station 51 without fail, the battery saving is applied when the battery saving synchronizing signal is received. |
