ARM ATTACHMENT DEVICE FOR LINEAR TRACKING PLAYER

PURPOSE:To decrease the number of component parts and also to improve the beauty properties of a linear tracking player by attaching slidably a linear tracking arm part to a sheet metal attached to the player main body via rubber and providing a shielding function to the rubber for the sheet metal surface. CONSTITUTION:A supporting part 2 is attached in a body to a linear tracking arm part 1 at the right edge part (not shown in the figure), and a sheet metal 3 is clamped slidably by the part 2. Then the metal 3 is attached to an attachment part 6 of a player main body (cover body of the player) 5 with a screw 8 via a rubber 11 serving as a buffer for vibrations of the metal 3. The rubber 11 covers up an end face 7 as well as the part 6. Thus the rubber 11 serves as a conventional shielding plate. In this case, the vibration absorbing effect is not impaired despite a gap 19 reduced compared with a conventional case owing to the rubber serving as a buffer member. With reduction of the gap 10, the beauty properties can be improved for a linear tracking player.
