Annular hydraulic jack which comprises a travel limiter consisting of a valve 9, 10, 11 provided with an elastic return device 12 and sliding parallel to the axis of the jack in one of the elements 1, a leakage orifice 6 provided in the other element facing the said valve 9, 10, 11 so as to be closed in a sealed manner by the latter under the effect of the said elastic return device 12 and of the hydraulic pressure in the recess, and a stopping means 21 limiting the travel of the sliding of the said valve with respect to the first element, the two elements 1 and 2 furthermore comprising an indexing means for ensuring the proper angular positioning of these two elements with respect to one another. <IMAGE>
