PURPOSE:To register a telephone number called by each group to an exchange in advance by grouping individual calling telephone sets, providing a register to each group respectively so as to apply registration by an individual card. CONSTITUTION:When, an individual is entered in, e.g., a block A among blocks A-N covered by a private branch exchange 1, the individual loads the own personal card to the register 2 provided in the block A and depresses a registration button. The registration information is sent to the exchange 1 via a line and stored in a storage section 1a. When the exchange 1 receives a call number designating the individual, the corresponding information is read from a storage section 1a based on the call number and sends a personal call symbol or number to the designated telephone set of the group A. The registers 2-4 are provided respectively with a display section displaying a registered personal list.
