Pivoting vehicle window, comprising a first window part 2 making an opening in the window frame 11, 12, 13 and a second window part 3 having the shape of a sector, moved by pivoting, about a pivoting spindle 52 by a drive mechanism 6 acting on the periphery of the second window part 3. It is characterised in that the first window part 2 has a sector- shaped cutout in one corner delimited by a rectilinear edge 21 and by a circular arc-shaped edge 22 centred on the pivoting spindle 52 arranged in proximity to a vertical upright 11 of the frame in an intermediate position between the top and bottom of the said upright 11 and in that it supports a semicircular slide rail 41 serving as guidance for the periphery of the second window part 3, this slide rail being centred on the pivoting spindle 52 and bordering the circular arc-shaped edge 22 of the cutout. <IMAGE>
