<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the interference of a measured value and the attack of a combustion pipe and oxidation catalyst by the inorg. salt-component in a sample by providing a carrier gas supply part, humidifying part, sample introducing part and combustion part, etc. CONSTITUTION:A carrier gas is fed from the carrier gs supply part 2 to a humidifier 4 and the humidified gas is fed to the combustion part 10 held at a prescribed temp. where the carrier gas is passed through the catalyst 7. The gas is then passed successively through a moisture condensing part 11, a filter part 12 and a non-dispersion type IR gas detector (NDIR) 13 by which the gas is held in the stationary state. The sample is then injected from a sample injector 5 into a sample injecting part 6. This sample is oxidized in the combustion part 10 by which the C component is converted to CO2. The moisture is removed from the gas in the removing part 11 and after the gas is filtered 12, the gas is fed to the NDIR13, by which the CO2 is detected. The CO2 content is measured in an arithmetic and quantitative determination part 14 for the peak area of the detection signal form the NDIR13. The measured value is displayed on a display part 15.</p> |
