Extendable modular V-bar base for bows

The invention relates to V-bar bases allowing an adjustment of the centring of the bow and extension towards the W-bar V-bar as well as personalisation of the mounting of the "T.F.C." 's and of the central stabiliser by means of standard elements. It comprises a crossmember 3 fastened by means of the screw 1 to the bow grip and receiving at its ends either joints 2 or uprights 4. The spacers 5 make it possible to vary the length of the standard elements. The arbitrary association of the standard elements with one another makes it possible to produce the configuration necessary for obtaining a good centring of the bow as a the result of the displacement of the centres of gravity of the masses fastened to the base. The central stabiliser 9 can be fastened to the screw 1 by means of standard elements, in order to adjust a lateral unbalance. The standard elements are assembled by means of a screw/fan-washer system, in order to obtain a positive locking. <IMAGE>
