PURPOSE:To provide a positive seal between an outer circumferential surface and an inner circumferential surface of an outer frame as well as an outer circumferential surface of an outer wall and to prevent a leakage of air by a method wherein cooling air if flowed in air outlet passage and air discharging outlet and the outer frame is cooled and shrinked and closely contacted with the outer wall. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioning unit is fixed at its main body 1 to a rear part of the ceiling S of a room requiring an air conditioning operation. Then, it is fixed to the fixing part 15 of the main body 1 with an engaging fitting for the opening 2. In this case, the outer frame 221 of the opening 2 and the inner frame 211 are pushed upwardly to be engaged to each other at the outer circumferences of the outer wall 111 and the inner wall 12 of the main body 1. The outer wall 111 and the inner wall 12 are of solid material and in turn the outer frame 221 and the inner frame 211 are of a semi-solid material, so that in case of an engaging operation, the outer frame 221 and the inner frame 211 are deformed and a positive engagement between them can be assured. |
