The invention relates to a device making it possible to guide a moving vehicle by modifying or cancelling out the respective speed of each of the two drive wheels. It consists of a driving moving body provided with two trapezoidal pulleys of variable separation 5a, 4a and 5b, 4b making it possible to vary the speed of the belts 8a and 8b which each drive a distinct and independent receiving pulley 13a, 12a, 12b, 13b also of variable separation. By acting on the control lever 9 the moving bodies, motor 2 and receivers 10a and 10b are translated and the speeds of the receiving pulleys 13a, 12a, 12b, 13b and hence of the toothed wheels 15a and 15b are caused to vary (inverse variation) until one of the two of them is disengaged. <IMAGE>
