PURPOSE:To reinforce a lid front part so rigid enough and thereby improve its rigidity, by setting up reinforcement in a closed section part made up of both outer and inner panels. CONSTITUTION:Closed sections 18 and 19 are made up of an outer panel 14 and an inner panel 15. Striker reinforcement 20 is set up in the closed section 18. Likewise, reinforcement 22 is disposed through the inside of these closed sections 18 and 19 so as to go along an inner surface of the outer panel 14. The front and is joined to the inner panel 15 at the front farther than a setting part of a striker 21. In addition, a rear end of the reinforcement 22 is joined to both panels 14 and 15 at a joined part between the outer panel 14 at the rear farther than the setting part of the striker 21 and the inner panel 15.
