PURPOSE:To prevent that in an after recording mode, the noise, which appears on the reproducing screen, is generated at the center of a screen by providing a rotary deleting head within the prescribed angle scope stipulated based upon the length of a sound track to a recording reproducing head. CONSTITUTION:A rotary deleting head 12 rotates in the direction of the arrow. The rotary deleting head 12 is provided preceding to about 30 deg. for an R/P head 10. R/P heads 10 and 11 are provided on the same plane, and the rotary deleting head 12 is fitted with the prescribed defference in level. Therefore, at the time of the after recording mode, preceding to the R/P head 10, the rotary deleting head 12 traces two tracks. By supplying the deleting electric current to the rotary deleting head 12 with the timing in the figure (c), two tracks preceding to the R/P head 10 are deleted. At such a time, since in the reproducing picture, the noise due to the deleting electric current and the noise due to the recording electric current appear approximate to the edge part of the screen, the screen is made easy to see.
