PURPOSE:To execute the abbreviated dial service registered by the seat of one's own from a subscriber terminal except the seat of one's own by indexing the called person code to be reloaded from the called abbreviated dial code registration table, and connecting the caller terminal to a called person terminal by the indexed called person code. CONSTITUTION:An exchange A82 having a caller terminal 81 is connected with an exchange C83 by its own station code in the dial code, transmits all dial codes including the abbreviated code at the transmitting path, and connects the receiving path to a dial code receiving device. The exchange C83 is con nected from the exchange A82, when the special code of one's own seat abbrevi ated dial and one's own seat code supplied to the extension, which its own exchange C83 has, are analyzed, a code sending device is connected to the transmitting path to the exchange A82, and the called person code indexed from an abbreviated code registration table 84 is transmitted. The exchange A82 to receive the called person code handles the called person code as the dial code received from an original caller terminal 81, connects an exchange B85 and connects the caller terminal 81 of the exchange A82 to a called person terminal 86.
