In the case of the method according to the invention, a cladding hose (4) which is provided with a resin-absorbent inner layer (9) is pressed by means of a sizing hose (13) against the inner surface of the pipeline (1) which is to be repaired. The sizing hose (13), which is fitted into the cladding hose (4) by pushing it inside out, is likewise provided with a resin-absorbent coating (15) which, after the sizing hose has been pushed inside out, is located on the outside and in contact with the resin-absorbent coating (9) on the cladding hose (4). Both resin-absorbent coatings are impregnated with resin and, on contact, initiate a chemical reaction for curing the resin coating of the cladding hose (4). This method is particularly advantageous, since there is no need to supply thermal energy for curing. <IMAGE>
