PURPOSE:To obtain a resin having improved fluidity in coating with a high concentration and good water resistance and ink receptivity, by deammoniating a polyamide polyamine and polyurea polyamide and urea and reacting the resultant product with a crosslinking reagent and an anionic agent. CONSTITUTION:A polyamide polyamine obtained by reacting 1mol dibasic carboxylic acid with 0-2mol amino compound containing one primary amino group or monobasic carboxylic acid and 0.5-5mol polyalkylene polyamine or polyalkylene polyurea or polyurea polyamide or both and 0.1-3mol, based on 1mol primary and secondary amino groups in the above-mentioned resin, urea are deammoniated, and the resultant product is then reacted with at least one or more crosslinking reagents of epihalohydrin, formaldehyde and dialdehyde and an anionic agent. Alternatively, the resultant deammoniated product is reacted with the above-mentioned reagents and then with the anionic agent. |
