PURPOSE:To have several types of a recording speed by receiving a signal to determine the recording speed beforehand, deciding it and changing over the recording speed. CONSTITUTION:A recording start signal PRST, a recording speed selecting signal SPDCH and a picture signal DV are sent through an interface circuit 21 to a printer device 20 main body. A control circuit 22 executes various controls for recording such as the control of the recording head and the rotating control of the photosensitive drum. A recording speed setting circuit 23 linked at the control circuit 22 derivates the signal to set the recording speed to the control circuit 22, in accordance with the selecting signal SPDCH to select the recording speed inputted through the interface circuit 21. At the control circuit 22, a motor driving circuit 24 to control the rotating and driving of a photosensitive drum 1 and a head driving circuit 25 to derivate the signal necessary to drive an LED array 3 are connected. In accordance with the output from the setting circuit 23, the control circuit 22 changes over the speed of the motor driving circuit 24 and the head driving circuit 25. |
