PURPOSE:To shorten the blanking period by shading the protruded part unsuitable for the shape of the transmitting aperture of the filter with a contraction. CONSTITUTION:A cross sectional circular luminous flux to be made incident on filters 7, 8 and 9 of a turret 6 and the flux to come out are cut by respective edges 17 and 18 of transmitting apertures 16 and 16 of respective diaphragms 13 and 14. Namely, the luminous flux is cut to the luminous flux suitable for the shape with a penetrating starting edge 11 and a terminal end 12 of a transmitting aperture part 10 of filters 7, 8 and 9. When the luminous flux is a cross sectional circular luminous flux, both parts of the penetrating starting edge side and the terminal side are transmitted and made incident on a light guide 4 as they are, and thereby, the shading period is minimized, the blanking period is made longer. The unnecessary flare part can be cut and the blanking period can be shortened by diaphragms 13 and 14.
