A device or system (10) for determining the concentration of oxygen and combustibles within a gas utilises an aspirator (18) for maintaining the flow of the gas to be analysed to a combustibles sensor (14) and an oxygen sensor (16). A plurality of orifices (24, 26, 28, 30 and 32) is provided to proportion the flow of the gas to the combustibles sensor (14) and to the oxygen sensor (16).
