PURPOSE:To effectively prevent an engine speed from temporarily decreasing or stopping at electric load applying time by altering a set voltage in response to the application of a vehicle electric load. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle generator 1 is rotatably driven by a vehicle engine 3 through a belt 2. A battery 7 is connected with the output side of the generator 1, and the output voltage of the battery 7 is controlled by a reference voltage Vref by a generating voltage controller 8. Electric load groups L1-Ln are inserted in parallel through switches S1-Sn between the output terminals of the battery 7. A generation controller 9 accelerates the rotating speed of the engine 3 in response to the application of the electric loads at idling time. Simultaneously, after the reference voltage Vref is momentarily reduced to the prescribed voltage in response to the application of the loads, the voltage is gradually returned to the set value. Thus, the temporary decrease of the engine speed at load application time can be prevented. |
