The invention describes a stacking apparatus which is intended for sheet-like structural parts and is suitable, in particular, for stacking large three-dimensional sheet-like structural parts. The stacking apparatus has columns on which there are provided rotatably mounted receiving parts. As a result of the position of their centre of gravity, the receiving elements have a defined end position. They are pivoted into the other end position via a control device. It is advantageous in this arrangement that the drive of the control device does not have to be provided on each column, but rather only at the loading point, and that the columns can be used universally since they can be reset corresponding to the contour of the structural part.
