NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (R is H, halogen or methyl). EXAMPLE:N-(1,1-Dimethylindan-4-yl)-1,3-dimethylpyrazole-4-carboxamide. USE:Fungicide for phytopathogenic fungi. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be produced e.g. by reacting acetylacetone with 1,1-dimethylindan-4-yl isocyanate, and reacting the resultant compound of formula II (Ar is group of formula III) with methylhydrazine (CH3NHNH2).
